Columbia Global Center Amman aims to support knowledge sharing between academia and the public by making research and insights accessible and fostering inclusive, community-driven conversations. Through a range of in-person and virtual events, we engage diverse audiences in Jordan, across the region, and beyond.
Our Speaker Series, held at the Center, features renowned scholars and thought leaders. Covering topics such as public policy, business, economics, the arts, architecture, and sustainable development, the series has featured prominent figures, including Lakhdar Brahimi, Rashid Khalidi, Gayatri Spivak, Joseph Stiglitz, and many others.
Our webinars offer timely, expert-led discussions on cutting-edge issues across our thematic areas. These virtual events provide a platform for diverse audiences to engage with critical topics, encouraging meaningful dialogue by highlighting both regional insights and global perspectives.
