Académie des Futurs Leaders
Founded by Obama Foundation Scholar Alice Barbe in 2021, the Académie des Futurs Leaders is an immersive training program in French for individuals committed to environmental causes and social justice. It aims to accompany progressive changes in politics, with the support of more than 100 dedicated volunteers. Participants benefit from a platform for political engagement, forming alliances, creating strategies, and anchoring their future political aspirations.
The program is intended for individuals who desire to enter politics as a new generation of politicians guided by progressive values. It provides the tools necessary for transforming social involvement into political influence.
The six-month training begins in January of any given year and takes place at Reid Hall (Paris) three days a week. The program is built around seven skill sets:
- Understanding the fundamentals in Political Science
- Preparing for the European elections in 2024
- Examining new issues in Democracy
- Comprehending the great global challenges ahead
- Learning how to campaign and win
- Maintaining well-being and mental health
- Mastering one's political discourse
