Chenchen Duan
Chenchen Duan is the Senior Program and Communications Officer at the Columbia Global Center Beijing, where she oversees content development and publications, manages the Center’s English and Chinese communication channels, and leads student engagement initiatives.
Before joining the Beijing Global Center in 2017, Chenchen built a diverse and dynamic professional portfolio through roles across a range of industries, including education, news media, fashion, and cultural organizations. Her international career spans reputable institutions in the U.S. and China, where she played a pivotal role in advancing strategic communication, cultural management, and digital innovation for Boston University, China Central Television, and New Oriental.
Chenchen graduated cum laude from Boston University’s College of Communication with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, specializing in Public Relations. She later earned a master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London and completed the Digital Strategies for Business program at Columbia Business School.
A passionate advocate for cultural exchange, Chenchen is fluent in Chinese and English, with advanced knowledge of Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, and German, which enriches her ability to foster global connections across diverse cultures.
