Eva Duarte is an Amazonian woman from Manicoré, in the middle of the Rio Madeira region. She is a social entrepreneur, architect and urban planner, and a regional facilitator committed to strengthening the leadership of forest peoples. Her trajectory is inspired by and dedicated to the pursuit of gender equity, the protection of rights, and the well-being of Amazonian communities and their peoples.

Rooted in territorial realities, she practices a form of leadership grounded in identity and collective transformation. Through OCA Amazônia and Arumã Institute, where she is a co-founder, and works on implementing resilient community infrastructure and strengthening the capacities of collectives and women leaders. At Fundación Avina, she focuses on connecting organizations and leaders across the Pan-Amazon with regional and global agendas, expanding access to opportunities and climate finance.
