Before coming to Columbia, he worked as a Child Protection Focal Point with Finn Church Aid at Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. There, he was responsible for running activities related to emergency child protection and sexual gender based violence cases. He is also a founder of Amkenihub’s Entrepreneurship, a community based organization in the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. The program trains youth and women in entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation, hygiene promotion (WASH) and environmental protection. Prior to that, he was the Country Director of Young Global Leaders Network, a UK based social enterprise, which provided leadership skills and community based training.
