Zakayo received his Bachelor of Science in Social Protection and has worked as a volunteer Social Health Insurance Benefit Officer Assistant in the National Social Security Fund in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is eager to learn as much as he can about mental health illnesses while pursuing his Masters degree from the Columbia School of Social Work. He believes that alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness in his home country is critically important and he hopes he can help many on their journey to wellness.
