Pablo Goldberg
Dr Pablo Goldberg has had undergraduate and medical education in Argentina. He completed his adult Psychiatric Residency at Payne Whitney Clinic, New York Hospital, Cornell during which he spent some time involved in Psychiatric Genetic Research at Rockefeller University. He trained thereafter in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Since completing his fellowship, Dr Goldberg has been involved in Child Psychopharmacological Research in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in areas such as ADHD and Teen Suicide and in Biological Research in Mood disorders and Suicide at the Department of Neuroscience, New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He has been key in the formation of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division in the University of Connecticut Health Center where he was an assistant professor of psychiatry.
Currently Dr Goldberg has been the Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Comprehensive Emergency Service (CCPEP) till June of 2011. As of July of 2011 he is the Medical Director of the Children's Day Unit at New York State Psychiatric Institute involved in research in psychopharmacology of mood and anxiety in children and adolescents, as well as clinical care. Dr.Goldberg is published and is an active member of the APA (Fellow Member), AACAP and AMA.
