Town Hall for COVID-19 Vaccinations and Updates
The session included up-to-date information about the different COVID-19 vaccines under development as well as those currently approved/authorized, including updates on the status of COVID-19 vaccination efforts in New York City. There was also be an update on the importance of continued adherence with other public health preventive measures.
The Great Vaccine Race: Perspective from Brazil and the World
This webinar took on some of the big issues in the race for the vaccine by addressing the science and practicality of the vaccine rollout from a global perspective.
Connecting with campus resources
Arts & Culture Series
Each week, students meet to discuss contemporary topics as diverse as feminism, pop music, cooking, postcolonial & social issues. In addition, there will be a possibility to incorporate current political events into the discussions as well as adapting the conversations to the participants interests. Once a month, a guest speaker will join the session to explore a specific topic and interact with the students. This is an opportunity to continue practicing your French language skills while expanding your understanding and exposure to contemporary French culture!
Uptown Triennial 2020: A Virtual Visit to the Wallach Art Gallery
Students experienced the Wallach Gallery's current exhibition, Uptown Triennial 2020, and learned more about how the Harlem Renaissance continues to impact and influence contemporary artists. The Uptown Triennial 2020 exhibition, the second iteration in the series, presented the work of contemporary artists in dialogue with the Harlem Renaissance, a defining moment in American modernism and African-American cultural history, during its centennial year.
The Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Art Gallery advances Columbia University's historical, critical, and creative engagement with the visual arts. Serving as both a laboratory and a forum, the Wallach Art Gallery offers opportunities for curatorial practice and discourse, while bridging the diverse approaches to the arts at the University with a welcome broader public.

Columbia Alumni Association Hong Kong (CUAAHK) launched a Lunchtime Career Talk Series where esteemed alumni and guests spoke to Columbia students about their careers in a particular industry.
University Leadership Series
The Columbia Global Centers invited all international students to join an International Students Forum with President Lee C. Bollinger. During the Forum, President Bollinger addressed international students on a wide range of topics and engaged in a moderated question and answer session.
University Forum for International Students with Barnard College President Sian Beilock
President Beilock met with international students to discuss plans for the Spring semester and how to remain connected to Barnard and Columbia while abroad. She was joined by Barnard and Columbia administrators, including Emy Cardoza, Associate Dean for Student Life; Giorgio DiMauro, Associate Provost for International Initiatives; Wendy Garay, Dean for International Students; Nikki Youngblood Giles, Vice-Dean for Campus Life; and Safwan Masri, Executive Vice President for the Columbia Global Centers.
