On April 24, The Inaugural Yusuf Hamied Distinguished Lecture was held at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in coordination with Columbia Global Centers | Mumbai. The Hamied Lecture honors outstanding individuals whose work has advanced the understanding of global health challenges. Professor K Srinath Reddy, President of the Public Health Foundation of India was the speaker for this lecture entitled 'Public Health: A Bridge Between Science and Society'. About the speaker: K. Srinath Reddy A trained epidemiologist and cardiologist, Dr. Reddy is a world-renowned expert in cardiovascular health, tobacco control, chronic disease prevention, and health across the life course. He is an avid researcher, educator, policy expert, and advocate.
