Vinícius Lopes is a climate governance specialist with extensive experience bridging local action and global decision-making processes. With seven years of work in Brazilian civil society, he focuses on developing high-impact initiatives, participatory methodologies, and elevating the perspectives of vulnerable territories in decision-making spaces. He has participated in COP27 and COP28, the Amazon Summit, and the G20. He is also co-founder of the coalition O Clima é de Mudança. Vinícius holds a degree in International Relations, a specialization in Public Policy Management and Evaluation from PUC-Rio, and studied abroad at the Universität zu Köln.
