What shape does healing trauma take in the aftermath of conflict?

This event focuses on the profound psychological impact of war, the challenges inherent in providing mental health support in war-torn regions, along with strategies for overcoming barriers to care. Panelists will discuss requisites for enhanced mental health support in post-conflict scenarios, and the types of collaborative efforts needed for a more resilient and supportive environment, honing in on the recovery of traumatized individuals, especially children.

Our webinar is co-sponsored by the Social Intervention Group, the Committee on Forced Migration, and Columbia Global Center Amman, in partnership with the American University of Beirut | Global Engagement Initiative. It is the third in the After War: Learning from Past Conflicts series.
