YS Alone

Dr. Y.S. Alone is Professor in Visual Studies, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University. His research interests include ancient Indian art, modern Indian art, Buddhist caves, neo-Buddhist visual culture, and Dr. Ambedkar's critical frame work. He was nominated as ICCR chair visiting Professor in Shenzhen University, China and has lectured widely in India and abroad.  His publications include Early Western Indian Buddhist Caves: Forms and Patronage (Kaveri Books) (2014).
