Do you have a research idea with real-world potential? Join us to learn about the second cohort of Lab to Market: Bridging Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a startup training program organized by NTUA, Columbia University, Endeavor Greece, and the Hellenic Institute for Advanced Studies (HIAS), with the generous support of The Blavatnik Family Foundation.
Lab to Market helps teams of students and researchers turn their ideas into startups through an intensive bootcamp in Athens, a virtual training program with mentors from Greece and abroad, and a pitching competition with cash prizes. Outstanding participants also win a paid trip to New York City to showcase their work.
In our first cohort, 90 fellows in 25 teams took part. 13 teams traveled to New York, and 8 teams won prizes in the pitching competition.
At the info session, you will meet the program partners, hear directly from Cohort 1 fellows about their experience, and get your questions answered about eligibility, team requirements, and how to apply.
Who Can Apply?
Your team should have 2–4 members who are students, researchers, post-docs, or recent graduates (within the last 12 months). Priority goes to PhD students, master’s students, advanced undergraduate students, and early career researchers (post-docs).
The main focus areas are Artificial Intelligence, Health, and Energy & Sustainability, but ideas from other fields are welcome too.
