June 20th marks World Refugee Day. Refugees and the various support systems for displaced populations face significant challenges, especially in terms of funding and political support. Refugees are not only victims in need of protection but also entrepreneurs, craftspeople, and experts. They enrich communities and contribute to the societies and economies in which they reside.

This community-focused event will highlight certain misconceptions about refugees and how to overcome them. After a short session with expert highlights, we will engage in interactive small-group discussions between experts and participants. Those joining online, will be able to discuss in break-out rooms.
