Research: Are public and private transportation policies leading to climate and social transformation in Santiago, Chile?

Ariana Salas-Castillo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Sustainable Urban Development at the Climate School at Columbia University, where she is part of the Partnership for Research on Informal and Shared Mobility. Her research focuses on the political economy of public and popular transportation in Latin American cities. Ariana obtained her PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024.
