Iassonara de Oliveira Veríssimo (Fulni-ô)

Iassonara Veríssimo Fulni-ô is an Indigenous lawyer from the Fulni-ô people and a leading advocate for human rights and climate justice. She serves as President of the Association of Original Peoples (APORI) and Vice President of the OAB/RJ Commission for Indigenous Peoples’ Rights. A graduate specialist in Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights, and International Cooperation (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid) and a master’s candidate in Political Science and International Relations (IDP), she created Indigenous Fashion Week Brazil, the country’s first national platform for Indigenous fashion, connecting art, sustainability, and Indigenous leadership aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda.
