Julia Carvalho Silva Sobreira is a public sector leader dedicated to strengthening public policy and advancing gender equity as a driver of transformation. Born in Volta Redonda (Rio de Janeiro), she holds a degree in History (UFRRJ) and a postgraduate credential in Leadership and Public Management from CLP. Her career spans social and cultural project design, fundraising, and public administration, with experience at IBAM, the Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat for Social Assistance and Human Rights, and municipal governments including São João de Meriti and Nova Iguaçu. She currently serves as Municipal Secretary of Tourism and Culture of São Gonçalo.
