Mariana Marinho Machado is a judge and justice-sector leader committed to equity, innovation, and the protection of fundamental rights. A Judge at the Court of Justice of Piauí since 2013 and formerly at the Court of Justice of Pará, she holds a master’s in law and Judicial Power (ENFAM), an MBA in Judicial Management (FGV), and a specialization in State Law. She is part of ENFAM research groups on gender, human rights, access to justice, conflict prevention, and judicial innovation. Mariana coordinates Brazil’s Movement for Gender Parity in the Judiciary, working to expand women’s and Black professionals’ representation in decision-making spaces.
