Xiaojuan Jiang
Xiaojuan is the Program Manager of Columbia Global Center Beijing. She is responsible for Richard Rockefeller Fellowship, as well managing other projects related to climate change and sustainability at the Beijing Center.
Before joining Columbia Global, she had more than eight years’ experience working in the field of climate change. She worked for two EU-China policy dialogue and cooperation projects on climate change as program manager/senior expert, to support China’s efforts to establish a national carbon market from 2017 to 2024. She was also responsible for stakeholders’ engagement of UK’s Prosperity Fund-China Energy and Low Carbon Economy Program as a management team member, experience giving her a thorough understanding of China’s scope, policy framework, priorities, and agenda in the climate change domain.
Prior to her work in the climate change sector, she worked for the China-EU Trade Project as project manager between 2012 and 2015, where she helped to facilitate market access and sustainable trade in China through policy dialogues.
Xiaojuan began her career in the development field at UNDP China office, where she worked in rule of law and civil society participation area. She holds a Master’ degree in Global Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
