Global challenges require global perspectives. Young people have long played a vital role in connecting nations, fostering mutual understanding, and advancing people-to-people exchange. For decades, educational exchange has cultivated generations of globally minded leaders in both China and the U.S., serving as an enduring bridge between the two societies.
At a time of profound changes in the global landscape, how can U.S.-China educational exchange continue to serve as a bridge for dialogue and collaboration? Recent positive signals from the meeting between the Chinese and U.S. heads of state have created new opportunities for educational cooperation, youth engagement, and people-to-people exchange between the two countries.
Against this backdrop, Columbia Global Center Beijing and Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asian Institute will co-host this dialogue, bringing together Columbia alumni and distinguished guests from academia and the international education community.
