Ying Li is the Director of the International Climate Exchange Department at the Shanxi Coshare Innovation Institute of Energy & Environment, a regional climate think tank. With over a decade of experience as a policy-oriented researcher and practitioner, she leads a team focused on energy just transition and inclusive low-carbon development in coal-dependent regions. Her work centers on developing local climate narratives, advancing innovative policy research, and building cross-regional and international exchange platforms to drive climate-friendly policies for sustainable development. Ying holds a Master of Environmental Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Dalian Maritime University.
