Join us for a dialogue featuring senior educators Prof. Wei Zhang and Prof. Kezheng Feng.
The discussion will center around two of Prof. Zhang’s recent works, Teacher's Rhythm and Teacher's Lineage, which trace her over 50-year teaching career. Prof. Zhang will reflect on her extensive interactions with teachers and students, highlighting that the essence of education lies in mutual learning, the true meaning of education is love and respect, and the process of education is to influence life with life.
In both works, Prof. Zhang integrates her own experiences and references to ancient and modern Chinese and foreign works, demonstrating her constant exploration and tireless reflection on the meaning of education. Her insights offer valuable contributions to the future development of Chinese education.
Seasoned educator Prof. Kezheng Feng will draw from his personal experiences and education practices to provide commentary regarding the two works.
Professor Qin Gao, a former student of Prof. Zhang and a professor at the Columbia University School of Social Work, will moderate the event.
