University Initiative for Displaced Students and Scholars in Crisis

Columbia University is committed to mobilizing resources and coordinating with partner organizations to help displaced scholars and students around the world who have been impacted by a recent crisis in their country. The Columbia Global Centers, working with the Committee on Forced Migration and internal and external partners, has identified pathways to support these individuals, and is helping to coordinate Columbia’s response. Below are examples of our efforts relating to two recent crises, which are in addition to the Columbia University Displaced Student Scholarship
