Beyond Principles: The Practice Of Responsible AI
While many organizations have articulated ambitious and principled commitments around AI, the challenge remains how to embed these principles into organizational strategy, decision-making, processes, incentives, and technical implementation. This virtual conversation will examine the transition from ethical AI to responsible AI in practice, with particular attention to how responsibility and accountability can be lost, diluted, or overlooked as decisions move between organizational, managerial, and technical levels.
At the heart of the discussion is the question: How can organizations translate their commitments to responsible AI into practice, and ensure that responsible AI principles are meaningfully embedded and enforced at the technical level?
The panel will present actionable concepts for deploying responsible AI across varied organizational settings, helping participants understand not only why responsible AI matters, but also how to implement it, measure progress, assign responsibility, and sustain accountability from organizational strategy through to technical deployment.
