Following the first event of the Frontlines series, The Voice of Hind Rajab, directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, will be screened at Reid Hall, followed by a discussion with invited guests.
Set against the backdrop of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip, the film is based on the true story of six-year-old Hind Rajab, who became trapped in a car after her family came under fire in January 2024. Drawing on the recorded telephone call between Hind and the Palestine Red Crescent Society, the film explores the question of humanitarian action in areas of banned access.
The screening will be followed by a conversation addressing the questions raised by the film. Speakers will be announced soon.
