- Greece is a model for a region facing great risks. The Eastern Mediterranean is highly vulnerable to climate change, but Greece has made rapid progress that can provide lessons for its neighbors and for COP30.
- Fast implementation is a high priority. Nations need to quickly embrace integrated climate models, education/skills programs and inclusive financing that recognizes both local realities and global goals.
- Holistic actions are required. Adaptation and mitigation actions must be based on interdisciplinary collaboration that touches on all levels of society.
