During the second week of October, Columbia Business School students embarked on a transformative week in Tunisia as part of the Chazen Institute Global Immersion: Business and Entrepreneurship program, led by the Chair of the Tunis Center Faculty Advisory Committee, Professor Kamel Jedidi.
Around 40 MBA students explored the intersection of global business challenges and Tunisia’s rich cultural and economic landscape. The group engaged in a talk by Tunisian historian Houssem Eddine Chachia, professor at the university of Tunis, on the History of Tunisia, and enjoyed a tour of the former royal palace by the director of the Tunisian Academy of Science.
