The Habsburgs in Tunis - Guided Tour to Ksar Said Palace

The 25 scholars participating in the Columbia Global Centers I Tunis workshop "????????? ?? ????? (????-????)" enjoyed a guided tour to Ksar Said Palace to learn more about "The Beys Husseinites". 

"The Beys Husseinites" is an exhibition organized by the Center for Arts, Culture and Letters Ksar with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs represented by the Directorate of Plastic Arts and in collaboration with the National Heritage Institute (INP), the National Library of Tunisia (BNT), the Palace Ennejma Ezzahra and the private collections of "Tej el Molk Khayachi" and "Sachat Beylicat". It gives a historical overview of the different periods of the beylical regime will be given through 17 paintings of large and small formats, made by the pioneer artists of the beylical regime.

This tour was organized in partnership with the Columbia University in the City of New York Department of Art History & Archeology, Getty Foundation, I Tatti - The Harvard Univ. Center for Italian Renaissance Studies (Harvard University), and Laboratoire Régions et Ressources patrimoniales de Tunisie (Université De la Manouba).
