New Columbia Business School Alumni Chile Board Takes the Reins

March 11, 2022

The Columbia Business School (CBS) Alumni Club of Chile has elected a new board, led by its new president, Alex Sideman, CBS’17, Director of Development at Asset AGF.

“The 2022 board is honored to accept the challenge of continuing the ‘reboot’ of the CBS Alumni Club Chile, ongoing since 2018,” Sideman said. “Acknowledging the challenges faced by the outgoing board to maintain engagement during the pandemic, we are currently building an agenda for 2022 focused on in-person events and social occasions.”

The CBS Alumni Club president also highlighted the formalization of the club under the legal entity of the Columbia Alumni organization in Chile. “The previous leadership's achievement in this respect will provide the CBS Alumni Club access to receive sponsorship that would not otherwise have been possible. Going into 2022, we are looking forward to realizing the potential this milestone brings for subsidizing activities that bring together the CBS community in Chile,” he said.

The other members of the CBS Alumni Club Chile board include:

- Juan José Silva, CBS’19, Vice President Corporate Development, Quiñenco

- Evelyn Von Bischoffhausen, CBS’18, General Partner, Kayyak Ventures

- Flor Dell'Acqua, CBS’16, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist, McKinsey

- Fernando Concha, CBS’18, Director, Head of LatAm, Luma Financial Technologies

- Giancarlo Solari, CBS’21, Vice President Investment Banking, Asset Chile

The Santiago Center wishes the best for the incoming board and its endeavors and thanks the outgoing board for its achievements.
