The 'Technologies émergentes - Responsabilité sociétale' congress, organized jointly by Columbia Global Centers | Tunis and Association des Anciens de l'ISG de Tunis, and co-chaired by Ambassador Dr. Salah Hannachi (PhD, Columbia University '1980), took place on March 17th and 18th in Tunis.
CGC Tunis Director, Youssef Cherif, and Dr. Malek Ben Sliman, adjunct assistant professor at Columbia Business School, were present as members in the Congress' Best Research Awards Selection Committee.
Zainab Aziz, a 4th year student at Columbia Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, was also present as a speaker about the social responsibility of the university. Her talk highlighted the importance of education in promoting social responsibility and the role that universities can play in shaping a better future.
The congress, attended by approximately 200 people, showcased the best research projects conducted by ISG students. Congratulations to Nawres Jalel, who won the 'Meilleur Travail Recherche et Développement 2022' award for her project marrying modern art and artificial intelligence.
