Scholars-in-Residence
Columbia Global is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 Scholars-in-Residence program for Columbia faculty and researchers who want to spend up to two months at a Columbia Global Center working on their research and new educational experiences for Columbia students.
Awardees can gain invaluable new perspectives on their teaching and research, as they immerse themselves in a local academic and cultural environment. Proposals for interdisciplinary work are strongly encouraged.

Emerging Scholars Fellowship
Early-career scholars with displaced or refugee status can now apply for the Columbia Global Emerging Scholars Fellowship Program, a year-long fellowship at one of our Columbia Global Centers in Amman, Nairobi, Tunis, and Santiago.
The program supports academics in the humanities whose work has been disrupted by conflict or crisis in their home countries. In addition to accessing Columbia resources and expertise, fellows can stay rooted in their host regions, strengthening their local academic, professional, and personal networks while benefiting from a supportive home for their research.
