La petite caféothèque

Caféothèque

Reid Hall partnered with the Caféothèque, a highly-reputed café located across the Seine river. Given their long business experience with fair-trade artisanal coffee roasting and brewing, as well as their refugee training program and regular barista workshops, their mission aligned perfectly with what we had envisioned – a high-quality café promoting humanitarian principles, and a unique experience for those who come to Reid Hall.

Established in March 2022, it has become indispensable to our everyday life and activities. Staff, students, faculty, Fellows, and visitors not only benefit from great coffee roasted on-site, but they can also buy freshly squeezed fruit juices, empanadas, quiches, soups, salads, and desserts.

Additionally, the Caféothèque sponsors barista workshops, promotes art exhibits, and engages in public programs on sustainable food practices. First and foremost, it has become a gathering space for all those who pass through our doors….

La Persistance de la Couleur is an exhibition of paintings by Camila Salame, on view at the Reid Hall Caféothèque in the summer of 2023.

What was a long-held vision for many years has finally come to fruition at Reid Hall in Paris.
