Are you a climate professional looking to enhance your knowledge and skills? Want to participate in an exciting exchange program at Columbia University, all expenses paid? Look no further than the Rio Climate Visitors Program!

Join Camila Pontual, Climate Hub Rio's climate program manager, at 8:00 p.m. (BRT) on January 11 for an information session about the program in Portuguese. She will answer all your questions about our first-ever exchange program for Rio de Janeiro climate leaders. The two-week program will take you to New York, where you will participate in intensive sessions with staff, researchers, and professors from various Columbia departments.

The Rio Climate Visitors program is designed to help climate professionals develop partnerships and knowledge with Columbia University researchers, experts, students, and professors. The program is an opportunity to spend two weeks at Columbia University, gaining valuable insights and skills to help your career.

This initiative is one of the many activities implemented by Climate Hub at Columbia Global Centers | Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the City of Rio de Janeiro, to promote climate-related collaborations and cooperation.

During the info session, Camila announced the extension of the deadline for applications. We will accept applications until 6 p.m. on January 22, 2024, so don't miss this chance to take your career to the next level! Click here to learn more about the program and apply!
