13 Startups Deliver Pitches at 2022 Tech Startup Camp Demo Day
Startups were selected from an applicant pool of over 120 projects worldwide.
Thirteen promising startups in the domains of life sciences and artificial intelligence had the chance to pitch their innovative technologies and products in a demo day hosted in-person and online on Saturday, August 27.
Demo day was the capstone event for the 2022 Tech Startup Camp, an accelerator program jointly organized by Columbia Global Centers | Beijing and Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Center, an industrial innovation platform built by Zhongguancun Group.
This year from June through July, the program offered 15 entrepreneurial workshops and 12 mentorship sessions and connected market and investor resources to 37 accepted startups, four of which were founded or led by current students and alumni of Columbia University.
The day was an excellent platform for young startup founders to network with experienced angel investors, business leaders, and Columbia's regional community.
Representatives from Zhongguancun Group's affiliated enterprises and venture capitals presenting at the event included ZGC Science Park in Dongcheng District, ZGC Industry Institute, CICC ALPHA, Shunwei Capital, China Growth Capital, NIO Capital, and Unity Ventures.
