Research: Strengthening youth mental health and psychosocial support in Jordan: Building a collaborative research agenda for scalable, integrated models

M. Claire Greene, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Program on Forced Migration and Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Through her research, she aims to advance practical, evidence-based, and community-driven solutions to improve mental health and psychosocial wellbeing among populations affected by humanitarian emergencies and forced displacement. She has supported the implementation and evaluation of scalable interventions that integrate mental health and psychosocial support into existing health and social service systems in partnership with policymakers, practitioners, and communities. Dr. Greene is the Co-Director of the Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network, a founding member of the Columbia Global and Population Mental Health Program, and she serves as an editor for the scientific journals Global Mental Health and the Journal of Refugee Studies.
