Tunisia was the epicentre of the Arab Spring, and the MENA country where the attempts of democratization and revolutionary change have been the most successful. Furthermore, the country has been North Africa's cultural and political hub for most of the pre-colonial era. Carthage, Kairouan and then Tunis played prominent regional dimensions with ramifications in West Africa. All these historic places can be visited through CGC Tunis.
As a Center located at the heart of the Mediterranean, CGC Tunis will cooperate with the four nearby centers of Paris, Istanbul, Amman and Nairobi. Moreover, due to the closeness of CGC Paris, and the frequency of faculty and students visits to that Center, CGC Tunis will try to coordinate with Paris on how to host their guests in Tunis (a 2 hours flight from Paris).
