Teresa Edenholm
Teresa Edenholm is an international development and public health professional with extensive experience in population, reproductive health, evaluation, and social impact initiatives across Latin America and Asia. Over the course of her career, she has held leadership and program roles with major international organizations, including serving as Information Officer at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Parliamentary Group on Population and Development, Senior Program Officer for the Asia and Pacific Division at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and Evaluation Officer in UNFPA’s Office of Oversight and Evaluation. Additionally, she worked as Assistant Treasurer at Chase Manhattan Bank and with CARE.
Teresa has combined her professional work with longstanding civic and educational leadership. She co-founded the Colegio Nido de Águilas Alumni Association and has served as both President and Vice-President of the organization. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Colegio CREE Cerro Navia, a Chilean school affiliated with the Teach For All network, where she has contributed for more than a decade. She is also a founding member of We Care Nido, a Colegio Nido de Águilas initiative supporting the local community of Lo Barnechea. Her past board and advisory service also includes EngenderHealth and the Advisory Committee of Ashoka Chile.
Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Oberlin College, a Master of Public Health from Universidad de Chile, and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
