CGC Mumbai organized a symposium entitled ‘Health Risks from Toxic Metal: Strengthening Capacities for Metal Analysis of Biospecimens’.

The event was part of a PGIF research project led by Page Fortna, Columbia Professor of US Foreign and Security Policy. 

Several foreign and Brazilian authorities are set to participate in the climate hub launch event on March 14.

Peatlands cover about three percent of the Earth’s terrestrial surface and hold nearly one third of the carbon in the planet’s soil. Thanks to support from the Santiago Center, Columbia Sociologist, Denise Milstein, has been able to contribute to collective work - research, art, advocacy, and activism - regarding peatlands in Chile.
