Museum of Tomorrow (Praça Mauá, 1 - Centro, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 20081-240)

On March 14th, we will launch Climate Hub | Rio, an initiative that will serve as a platform for researchers from Columbia University and experts in Brazil to offer actionable and innovative solutions to climate change.

Brazilian and Columbia University experts will meet at the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio, to discuss the climate crisis, its impacts, and how academia, governments, companies, and civil society can promote concrete mitigation and adaptation actions.

Brazil is one of the most important countries in combating the global climate emergency, being the seventh-largest emitter of greenhouse gases on the planet. The effects of the climate crisis are present in global societies and the economy, disproportionately impacting the most vulnerable populations. The Climate Hub | Rio will be an important tool in Brazil's response to the climate crisis.

Simultaneous translation (Portuguese - English) will be available on the day.
The event is subject to full capacity.

See you on March 14th!
