Apply here by July 13

The course includes lectures about how entrepreneurship is changing the world, how students can be a part of that change, and meetings with successful entrepreneurs sharing their lessons as master innovators. The course encourages students to put their skills to the test by working in teams to design ventures and present them at the conclusion of the program.

Students are asked to bring their ideas, energy, questions and to get ready for a jam packed week of engaging with talented youth from across Amman all interested in making the world a better place.

This five-day online workshop will be held as part of the Amman Center's Soraya Salti Youth for Youth Series, and will help students to:

  1. Apply an entrepreneurial way of thinking to yield social impact
  2. Become familiar with the commonly used business model canvas and funding terms
  3. Explore facets of ecopreneurship in conversation with UN Sustainable Development Goals
  4. Speak to founders about their entrepreneurial journeys
  5. Design their own ventures and present their pitches

Students will attend a 2-hour online session everyday, in addition to submitting assignments, reviewing the pre-recorded course content, and engaging with the instructors during office hours.

This workshop is targeted for high school students (ages 15-18) with strong interest in developing knowledge and expertise about social entrepreneurship. Fluency in English is required.

Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completing the workshop.
