CGC Tunis Welcomes You!

March was a busy month for CGC Tunis, with multiple events and visits from partners and friends.

The team was delighted to receive representatives from DAAD, Ms. Renate Dieterich (her title), and Ms. Salha Ennajeh (her title), to explore potential collaborations between the two entities. The exchange was highly productive and promised exciting opportunities for both parties.

Another meeting was held at CGC Tunis, this time with Mr. Jamie Furniss from Institut de Recherche sur le Maghreb Contemporain (IRMC), to discuss a joint workshop on the nexus between climate change and conflict. 

We also welcomed His Excellency Kaiser Araujo, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., of Brazil, to discuss a possible partnership on Brazilian cinema in Tunisia.

Finally, on March 14th, the team hosted Prof. Taoufik Ben Amor, Gordon Gray Jr. Senior Lecturer in Arabic Studies at Columbia University and member of the Columbia Global Centers I Tunis Faculty Advisory Committee.
