Maggie Hopkins, Program Coordinator at the Columbia’s Business School’s Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America program (ECLA) traveled to Chile in mid-August to meet with local entrepreneurs and start-ups interested in applying to the program. Hopkins participated in an information session organized by the Santiago Center, met with ECLA alumni, and visited Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center. She also held meetings at Fundación Chile and CORFO’s Start-Up Chile program to find ways in which they could collaborate together to support mid-sized Chilean companies seeking to expand and better compete in today’s global environment. Later on in August, Susan Sullivan, Senior Associate Director of Columbia Business School’s MBA Admissions office, participated in a widely attended information session targeting Chilean professionals interested in applying to Columbia Business School.
