Santiago Center Awards Scholarships for the Women in Leadership Program

The Columbia Global Centers | Santiago has awarded five scholarships for the Women in Leadership program offered by the Executive Education division at Columbia Business School . The program will take place in New York on June 18-20, 2019.

The recipients, who were selected by a special committee at the Executive Education Team in New York among 22 applicants, are:

  • María José Pérez Villa (MSE’15), Director of Finance and Development at Universidad Católica’s School of Engineering.
  • Paula Estevez (MSE’06), Head of International Affairs Ministry of Energy.
  • Katherine Lama (MPA’16), Chief of Staff to the Vice-Minister of Trade.
  • Isabel Aninat (LLM’13), Researcher at Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP).
  • Rosario Palacios (MSUP’00), Associate researcher at Universidad Católica.   

These scholarships cover tuition and roundtrip airfare. 

The participants will learn time-tested techniques and practical ideas which women can apply immediately to their careers and that can help combat performance-limiting biases. They will network with likeminded colleagues, and will learn applicable skills for an immediate impact on their career and organizations.
