Columbia Global Centers | Istanbul hosted Dr. Yanis Ben Amor, Executive Director at the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) at Columbia University, and Dr. Ozge Karadag Caman, Senior Staff Associate.
Dr. Ben Amor spoke about technologies for global health, and how progress in technology and mobile health can be used in global health emergencies, such as tuberculosis and Ebola. Dr. Karadag Caman talked about the role of technology in public health promotion and sustainable development.
Afterwards, Dr. Selma Karabey, Professor of Public Health at Istanbul University School of Medicine, moderated a Q&A session.
