The Habsburgs in Tunis - Medina Guided Tour

The 25 scholars participating in the Columbia Global Centers I Tunis workshop "The Habsburgs in Tunis" enjoyed a guided tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Medina of Tunis where they visited some of its palaces and learned more about the oldest mosque in Tunis, the Great Mosque of Ez-Zitouna. 

This tour was organized in partnership with the Columbia University in the City of New York Department of Art History & Archeology, Getty Foundation, I Tatti - The Harvard Univ. Center for Italian Renaissance Studies (Harvard University), and Laboratoire Régions et Ressources patrimoniales de Tunisie (Université De la Manouba).
