Beijing Center hosts a welcome reception for the Columbia Class of 2023

On April 14, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing hosted a welcome reception for the Columbia Class of 2023 and their parents.

Ping GUO, parent of CC '19, generously sponsored the event and opened the reception with a welcome speech, congratulating news students for their achievements.

Alumni Representatives, Nick Kovalevich CC '04, Alice ZHANG CC '12, and Yidan Queenie CAO CC '16, shared their experiences studying at Columbia and living in New York and provided advice to their juniors on how to make the most of the collegiate learning experience.

Parent representatives, Jin LI, parent of CC '21, and Lin SUO, parent of CC '22, welcomed new students to join the Columbia community and talked about what parents can do to support and encourage their children during their college year.

The event provided new students an opportunity to learn more about the University and to engage with alumni and their peers.
