The Nairobi Global Center recently engaged in a dynamic exchange at the Women on Boards Network alumni learning session focused on Capital Markets in Nairobi, Kenya. This insightful gathering was expertly facilitated by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), which is entrusted with fostering orderly, fair, and efficient capital markets to enhance market integrity and investor confidence in Kenya.


Throughout the session, participants delved into a comprehensive overview of the CMA and its pivotal role in championing good governance. Discussions ranged from analyzing market trends, developments, surveillance, and enforcement to exploring avenues for international cooperation and aligning with regulatory standards. The Women on Boards Network hosted the session to support the Leadership program executed with the Nairobi Center and LeadWomen Sdn Bhd. This collaborative effort equips women serving on boards with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities while enhancing their skill sets.
