Google China talks about how Google works at the Beijing Center

On October 20, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invited three senior administrators from Google China to address Google's culture, technologies, and recent innovations.

The event included three presentations from each speaker, followed by a panel discussion and a Q&A session. 

George Mao, Head of Sales at Google Marketing Solution, first gave a general introduction on Google and its relationship with Alphabet. Chen Ling, Head of Industry at Google China Auto/CPG/Gov. shared some of Google's most advanced technologies including searching engine, self-driving car project, and Google AI. Xucheng Fan, Industry Head at Google China Large Customer Sales, spoke about how Google works and how Google recruits and keeps talents.

The panel discussion was moderated by Columbia alumna Ruichen Liu of Teachers College, who currently works at Google Marketing Solutions.

The public showed great interest in the presentations and more than 150 people attended the event.
