In collaboration with various academic departments, including the Mailman School of Public Health (MSPH), and the Columbia School of Social Work, the Beijing Center hosted events to address major healthcare issues confronting the region through key initiatives advocating healthy, sustainable lifestyles that contribute to a stronger, more economically stable society.
In response to the growing demand for more affordable, accessible, and high-quality health care in China, the Beijing Center has also been actively promoting Columbia's expertise through close collaboration with the Columbia University Irving Medical Center
(CUIMC) and other relevant schools and units. We identify common issues in the field that are worthy of exchanging among Columbia scholars and local talents and facilitate discussions on topics proposed by faculty, local partners, and ourselves. Taking advantage of the meaningful engagement, we are able to support graduate students in their global practicum, run career fairs in health and life science, and do a variety of other activities.
