Frontline Nurses: Leaders in Pandemic Response- Website Launch

Nurses and midwives are on the frontlines of pandemic response worldwide, but their stories and sacrifices are often ignored. This event will launch frontlinenurses.columbia.edu, a new site that presents first- person accounts of nurses and midwives from Liberia and Sierra Leone who successfully led their communities through the 2014 Ebola outbreak. Addressing Policy on Food Security and Nutrition under Kenya’s Big 4 Agenda

In the effort to end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture-Sustainable Development Goal (SDG2), and feed it's growing population,  the Kenya government launched the ‘Big 4 Agenda’. The five-year program seeks to achieve rapid results in the four identified development sectors, namely:   manufacturing, universal health coverage, affordable housing, and food security and nutrition.
